Sacred Heart is a Catholic Parish Primary School in the diocese of Sandhurst.It is situated in Tatura on the Midland Highway about 16km south-west of Shepparton in north-western Victoria. Often known as Water Wheel Country, Tatura is home to Tatura Milk Industries, Snow Brand, Unilever and the Institute of Sustainable Irrigated Agriculture. Tatura is known for its tree-lined streets and abundance of bushland reserves. Tatura is within the municipality of the Greater City of Shepparton http://www.greatershepparton.com.au/tatura/
The school is run by the Sacred Heart Parish, Tatura which is in the care of Fr Michael Morley (www.sacredheartparishtatura.com.au). Schools in the Sandhurst Diocese are supported by the Catholic Education Office Sandhurst www.ceosand.catholic.edu.au
The school aims to provide opportunities for each student to realise his/her full potential: academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, creatively and physically.
The Sacred Heart curriculum is inclusive of students with special needs, providing support as well as extending and enriching all students, ensuring the nurturing of individual potential. enrolment in 2016 is 2012.
